Influence of laying methods of capillary mats on heat transfer performance

On the basis of analysing the traditional laying method and the heat transfer performance of capillary mats, proposes a new laying method to enhance the heat transfer performance by angling the capillary mat towards the ceiling. Taking a capillary mat air-conditioned room as an object, establishes the simulation model and studies the cooling capacity of the capillary mat with different laying angles and shapes using the Airpak simulation software. The simulation results show that the cooling capacity will basically but not linearly be enhanced with the increase of the laying angle of capillary mat, and the effect of the laying shape should also be considered.
